Inspiring Change in the Next Generation of Donors
Challenge
Eden Food for Change, a local Mississauga-based food bank, wanted to shift community mindsets from food donations to more impactful monetary contributions. With an increasing need for fresh, nutritious food and the purchasing power to buy in bulk at wholesale prices, Eden recognised that every dollar donated could go twice as far in helping families. Their new initiative, Rethink Donations, aimed to engage young students in local elementary schools and educate them on the value of giving money rather than canned goods. Eden needed a trusted partner to develop engaging promotional tools that would resonate with both students and parents, and ultimately drive awareness and donations. BTI Brand Innovations was brought on to lead creative development, content strategy, and digital execution across all touchpoints of the campaign.

To support in-school visibility, we designed bright, educational posters that reinforced the campaign’s key message. Online, we built an engaging, interactive website packed with fun, age-appropriate nutritional resources to help children understand the power of giving and the importance of healthy food. To drive action, we developed a dynamic donations page where schools could track contributions in real-time, sparking friendly competition with prizes for the top-performing schools. Each initiative was designed to build excitement, strengthen school engagement, and make giving accessible and meaningful for young minds.
