Challenge
Indus Community Services’ Senior Wellness Program offers physical and mental activities and creative workshops for those aged 55+ that benefit overall well-being of seniors and fosters a sense of community. While regular physical activity among seniors is linked to improved well-being, many don’t meet weekly activity recommendations. Globally, one in four to five adults is physically inactive, increasing the risk of chronic diseases, mainly as aging often accompanies multiple chronic conditions.
To address the trend of physical inactivity among seniors and low engagement levels in the Senior Wellness programs, Indus enlisted the expertise of BTI to craft tailored video content. The goal was to tailor the senior videos to the South Asian senior community to address the challenges they faced, including language barriers.
