Challenge

Breaking ground at the first ever South Asian Retirement Village location in Ontario is a big deal, especially since this project has been in the making for five years and is now coming to fruition. Jeevan Niwas needed to create a buzz and bring attention to this historic event to get the South Asian community excited.

Breaking ground at the first ever South Asian Retirement Village location in Ontario is a big deal, especially since this project has been in the making for five years and is now coming to fruition. Jeevan Niwas needed to create a buzz and bring attention to this historic event to get the South Asian community excited.

Solution

Create a groundbreaking event that the South Asian community will talk about for a while and deliver an experience they remember for a lifetime. BTI developed a creative campaign that played off of the current “Awareness” campaign to promote the event focused around the community. Everything from brochures, banners, online event sign-up, a registration tent and lawn flags were produced to create greater awareness. As an added bonus, swag bags filled with pens, notebooks, mini sanitizer bottles, stress pillows and water bottles were given away to each registrant. BTI also wrote a pre and post event press release that was picked up by many media outlets (Yahoo Finance, Canadian Insider, Cision and The Canadian Business Journal to name a few), and was also broadcast locally by Parvasi TV and Y Media Channel.

This was truly an event that will be remembered by the South Asian community, who came together to celebrate life.
