Developing a brand platform that empowers underrepresented members and their allies

Challenge

Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is a global, peer-to-peer network of business founders and builders. Although EO is a global organization, they lack in membership diversity in each of their chapters worldwide. EO was looking to develop a platform for its global members with the sole purpose of diversifying the overall EO member experience and increasing the number of people of color, women, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community within EO.

MyEO OneWorld – A Diverse EO is a Stronger EO

Solution

The MyEO OneWorld platform was created as part of EO’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiative with a mission to create a more socially conscious, culturally diverse and inclusive experience for all EO members. BTI played a large role in the strategic development of the OneWorld platform as well as the main driver in all of the brand development, messaging and marketing collateral. A new brand identity, website, brochure, newsletter and testimonial videos were created to help increase awareness of EO’s DEI initiative and new membership sign-up.

Solution

Result

The MyEO OneWorld platform has already begun to see early successes with membership growth, increased event participation of non EO members, and new sponsorships from those who support the DEI initiative. MyEO “Breaking Barriers” dinners have increased to 30+ and an additional 2 forums have been launched. The initial progress to-date is a positive step towards a more diverse and stronger EO.
