Challenge
Privatized retailers in cannabis were faced with thousands of products from hundreds of Licensed Producers in dozens of formats to choose from. Choosing which products to purchase became overwhelming and daunting as grower information was limited and advertising was still highly restricted.

Solution
A National Sales Team program was developed, comprising of Area Sales Managers overseeing territories of 100-250 stores each, supervised by Regional Sales Managers and led by the BTI’s Executive Sales Team. The goal was simply to disrupt the outside sales space and represent the largest physical presence in a store’s ordering and selling of brand products. The team helped support the success of each store as a unique entity, bringing authenticity and genuine passion for the industry to every sales meeting, product education session, special event or anniversary, and in-store feature activation.

Result
The National Sales Team became the largest Cannabis sales team in Canada, propelling Redecan into the #1 slot across the country in pre-rolls and top 5 in capsules and oils. In one quarter alone the sales team had almost 2000 LMS signups, ran over 500 PK sessions and increased point of distribution sales to reach over 80,000.
Result
The National Sales Team became the largest Cannabis sales team in Canada, propelling Redecan into the #1 slot across the country in pre-rolls and top 5 in capsules and oils. The team was also successful in launching several groundbreaking products including an infused pre-roll, infused milled flower, and a large format pre-roll product.
