August was a month full of summer excitement at BTI! There were numerous opportunities for networking, collaboration, and learning, which are helping BTI achieve its goal of organizational growth. Check out how the month of August unfolded in our studio.
Sharing Insight at TIE Toronto
Our Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Parveen was at it again. This time he was speaking at TiE Toronto sharing his wealth of knowledge and insights with fellow entrepreneurs and investors on aligning purpose and personal ‘why’ to business.
Parveen spoke in detail about aligning marketing budgets to growth plans and how much to invest, but more importantly where to invest. He also touched on strategies that require minimal investment as well as the importance of alignment on big growth plans.
Parveen continues to remain committed to supporting entrepreneurs and generously donates his own time to help guide and mentor others.
Networking and Celebration at Streetsville BIA Summer Mixer
Some BTI Connectors had the opportunity to attend the Streetsville BIA Summer Mixer on Thursday, July 25th, at Cuchulainn’s Irish Pub.
The event brought together many local businesses and entrepreneurs for an evening of mixing and mingling while learning from one another, promoting our businesses, and building valuable relationships. We were also treated to wonderful hospitality and sampling from Madri Brewery and Pelee Island Winery!
We can’t wait to be a part of the next Streetsville BIA mixer!
BTI Leadership Boosts Skills with betterLEADER Program
The Senior Leadership Team at BTI took part in the betterLEADER program designed by Witz Education. The program is intended for professionals in leadership roles within their organizations looking to learn and improve upon their leadership skills.
The leadership team spent 5 days in an intensive leadership pressure cooker, delving into human behaviour theory and practice and learning how to communicate with diverse personalities both within and outside the organization. Aside from the invaluable course materials and knowledge, we also had access to one-on-one coaching sessions and were showered with great swag, too!
This training has significantly impacted BTI, empowering our leaders to inspire and guide our teams toward greater success and innovation.
BTI’s Collaborative Name Generation Session with its Client Partner
At BTI, we don’t have clients; we have client partners. We call them partners because partners collaborate together, and that is when we see the best results.
BTI recently had a newly acquired client partner visit our BTI studio in Mississauga to take part in a new brand name generation exercise. The name generation session consisted of reviewing competitor research, establishing a unique value proposition and analysis of the end consumer. We then moved on to brainstorming word sparks and potential brand names, with descriptors and possible taglines. The exercise concluded with the alignment of the brand story, core values and mission and vision statements.
The project is moving along smoothly, and we’re well-positioned to explore new opportunities and deliver exactly what our new client partner is looking for.
