BTI revisited its early 2000’s roots by sharing photos from the early days. It served as a reminder that while so much has changed, the heart of BTI remains the same.

BTI, what were you like in the early 2000’s?
Trends move quickly, but perspective comes from looking back.
Building on the recent “what were you like in the 2000’s?” trend online, we took a moment to revisit the early days, by sharing some photos from the archive that highlight how we have evolved over time.
The post offers a lot of nostalgia, but is also a testament to the consistency of our core values, our focus on creativity, our adaptability, and our forward thinking approach that continues to shape everything we do today.
As new innovations expand what is possible, this look back in time reinforces something important: while the tools change, the thinking and the humans behind great work remains constant.

Using AI with Purpose
AI is reshaping how work gets done, but at BTI, the focus remains on using it with purpose.
By integrating AI into the workflow with intention, the team is creating more space for strategy, creativity, and high-value problem solving while maintaining a strong human foundation. Here are 8 things we are doing to expand our capacity using AI:
1. Weekly team conversations on AI: The team shares tools, tests ideas, and discusses how AI can support creative thinking without replacing it.
2. Learning from industry leaders: Ongoing insights are shaped by voices like Mike Schwartz and Jacob Bank, alongside other innovators advancing the space.
3. Testing before applying: Every tool is explored internally first to identify what adds value and avoid generic or low-impact outputs.
4. Protecting the human in the work: Strategy, storytelling, and creative direction remain human-led, with AI supporting the process rather than defining it.
5. Exploring more ideas, faster: AI expands early-stage thinking, allowing teams to generate and refine stronger concepts more efficiently.
6. Using AI to remove friction: Repetitive tasks are streamlined so teams can focus on higher-value thinking and creative problem solving.
7. Sharing what works (and what doesn’t): Learnings are actively exchanged across teams to build a smarter and more intentional approach.
8. Avoiding “AI for AI’s sake”: Every use of AI is evaluated against one standard: it must improve quality, clarity, or outcomes to be worth applying.
For us, better work comes from better thinking and we are using AI as a tool to accelerate the path forward.
