Since late 2020, BTI has been responsible for the sales and marketing of Redecan. Over the last 12 months, licensed cannabis retail stores in Ontario alone have gone from approximately 300 to over 1200 locations and Redecan has experienced over 400% growth in sales at the same time. To keep up with the demand of supporting retailers through a PUSH and PULL strategy, we expanded our Area Sales Managers team nationally and launched a weekend pop-up program. To onboard the whole team we executed a Redecan Sales Conference this past month.
The highlights were the VIP tours of the growing and manufacturing facilities in Fenwick and Redecan City, where the team had an inside peek of Redecan’s processes from seed to sale, and got the opportunity to speak with Master Growers, CO2 Extraction Experts, Quality Supervisors, Scientists, and some members of the Senior Leadership team.
For physical health, I try to do a workout each day, even if it’s only 10 minutes, or I like to go for a long walk outdoors. I also do one or two yoga classes a week. These activities also help my mental health, along with regular meditation.
To keep a healthy lifestyle, I make sure to get outside and enjoy some fresh air every day with my dog Zeus.
The three-day conference was packed with exciting activities, facility tours, and multiple knowledge sessions, all the time getting to know each other. Redecan and BTI believe in treating their team members like royalty. Therefore they made every arrangement accordingly, giving new team members an opportunity to feel like absolute kings and queens during their stay at the conference while following all health and safety guidelines provided by the health unit of Hamilton.
