It is part of BTI Brand Innovations’ commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
VOICE Grant Program is designed to level the entrepreneurial playing field by providing underrepresented business owners fair and equal access to opportunities and advancements despite systemic barriers. The goal is to help underrepresented groups, such as but not limited to, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of colour), youth (under the age of 25), women, 2SLGBTQI+, persons with disabilities, minority cultural groups, etc. so that they have the resources and opportunity they need to grow their business and succeed in their industry.
The grant is offered to ten selected underrepresented entrepreneurs who will receive 50% of eligible costs starting from $10,000 to $25,000 in grant funding for marketing strategy and branding.

FUNDING
The program is designed to be flexible to meet business owners where they are, providing up to $25,000 worth of marketing strategy and branding services for 10 applicants annually.
- The grant program will cover 50% of their service expenses, ranging from $10,000 to $25,000, for projects totalling $20,000 to $50,000.
- The applicant is responsible for the remaining 50% of the costs, ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 per project.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the VOICE Grant Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Applicants must be one of the following:
- BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of colour)
- Persons with disabilities under Section 10(1) of the Ontario Human Rights Code
- Women
- Youth aged 15-25 years old at start of the grant program
- 2SLGBTQI+
2. Canadian owned business
3. For-profit business
4. Be able to show revenue generated so far
5. Be incorporated
6. Be financially stable and able to pay all project expenses not covered by the grant program

The BTI VOICE Grant Program provides funding and support for marketing strategy and development projects to help up-and-coming Canadian entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Project areas are not limited to but can include the following:

APPLICATION
The VOICE Grant Program accepts applications on an ongoing basis. Apply in 3 easy steps!
STEP 1: SCREENING
Complete the application form and submit supporting documents.
Those who qualify will get an
eligibility confirmation email and move to the next step.
STEP 2: EVALUATION
The entrepreneur will present a pitch presentation to a panel committee. The committee will review the presentation through a standard scoring matrix and
share the final results.
STEP 3: EXECUTION
Selected candidates and BTI will sign a Grant Agreement on program
duration and grant funding amount based on the project requirements and proceed with starting the program.
